A study on a gesture interactive system for displays that does not require the user to hold any device. In the proposed system, the user stands in front of a display and use his hands to interact with the information presented on the screen. Gesture interaction is becoming an increasingly interesting option even in traditional computing.
A gesture based input techniques to allow the interaction with displays avoiding the use of any device attached to ther user body. The gestures supported to provide navigation, selection and manipulation of objects , as well as zooming on the screen. Can be used in workplaces where the users are busy to interact through device as it requires some time, gesture interaction is efficient for the user.
As in past the work done in hand gesture field to interact with displays lacks some accuracy and somehow does not gave the required output.

final deliverable will include both software and hardware in which hardware includes LCD, Camera and PC. This system will control interactions with the help of hand gestures.
