Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject SummaryTo design and develop of grocery assistant that assist our customers to remember their required products while walking through the racks by just calling the section name and also helps them to save their billing time at cash counters. Customer shopping list will be added in the electronic device by typing or speech recognition technique which will be categorized the products according to the sections and the device will communicate with the user for assistance and for billing process RFID will be used. It is a electronic device that can be placed on the trolley or the billing counter of shopping mall.
Project Objectives- • A supermarket is a self service shop offffering the wide range of products,so in our project
- the smart grocery assistant will helps them out in following ways.
- • It helps customer to fifind the products they need and reminds for remaining products.
- • Lessen the cashier responsibility for scanning items.
- • Fast and accurate billing.
- • Customer don’t has to wait in queue for billing.
- • Time saving and reduces man force.

Note: MATLAB, Arduino IDE, Visual studio are used in our project.
Benefits of the Project- In future we will be able to make manless stores in which cutomers just need to pick their items and bill will be paid through online cash system.
- Our project helps the people to find and memorize the products which they want to buy and also helps them in billing process.
