Glimpse is an architectural based intuitive house designing software that helps design 3D house models. This consists of two major modules i.e. Architectural Design and Interior Design. 

The Architectural design module will enable its users to create and visualize house structure based on the input provided by the user which includes area of the plot, no. of floors and rooms and other necessary details that must be require while designing houses. 

The Interior design module will allow the users to furnish and decorate the interiors of the house and can also be viewed virtually using VR headset.

Project Objectives

• Reducing costs by generating house models without any supervision of experts. 

• Getting multiple House models for different plot sizes i.e. 80 sq. yard, 120 sq. yard, 200 sq. yard, 240 sq. yard and 500 sq. yard.

• Provide detailed 2D and 3D view of the House models that helps improving decisions for the actual construction and designing of house.

• Provide better customer experience such as the usability of the application and generating house models.

Project Implementation Method

Our project consists of two major modules Architectural design and interior design. Basic concept is to make the fully ready architectural structure of houses with interior, for our users.

For the implementation of architectural design, we’re using unity software as we will make 3D assets of houses which will appear according to users’ specification. Also, we will generate 2D floor plans in for those 3D models for users. For further interior decoration we’re using two methods: either the user can input their selective needs or user can select a specific theme according to their choice and that interior will applied to the architectural model of the houses. For interior we’re using COOHOM, Sweet Home 3D and RoomSketcher software. We will also make everything flexible so that if user wants to change anything he can. 

After the making of all the models we will store them in a database using parameters of house measurements that will automatically appear on a web application.   

At last the end result that user will get is he can see 3D models of auto generated houses that he selected and can see 2D, 3D models of his house. 

For more we’re also giving an option to view those 3D models using VR so that user can fully visualize the design.
