 A Friend’s Point Of Sale System is a fully integrated application that allows any transaction, automatically registers product moves in your stock, and gives you real-time statistics and consolidations across all shops. The system contains many things including users, products, modules, debit, credit, reporting, sales reports (can be daily as well as custom range ), sales graphs, total inventory management, emails, product categories. Adding, Updating, Retrieving, and Deleting data (User, Product, and Product Category) is the primary thing that was damn important to be included.  Pos is a simple yet useful system which helps the user understand its features and grows his/her business fast, securely and confidently. 

Project Objectives

While in the initial phases, the goals were very clear but not that detailed but as we dig deep into the system while developing different things and modules, they became more clearer and huge. Primarily, the main focus was on how we going to manage the inventory of all the products.

Developing a multi-lingual system was our one of the main objectives. As the system is used to the highest level, so daily reporting, daily sales graph, daily inventory management, daily cash inflows as well as daily cash outflows was linked with each other. Main objective was that there should be only one system which can be used in anywhere in the world, like it should be customized to any business when needed. If there is one system that can take care of all the business, people will tend to use that as it is in their favor and our favor as well.

Project Implementation Method

As name suggests, this chapter is all about the implementation and how things gonna work. This chapter has several section including the work flow of the software. The components the libraries and web services utilized for the system. The version control that is used in order to keep the project up-to-dated. The tools and the techniques used for development and the deployment environment that is used by us while developing the system and the deployment environment which will be given to the user so that he/she can enhance the work.

It can be in a physical store, where POS terminals and systems are used to process card payments or a virtual sales point such as a computer or mobile electronic device.

A point-of-sale system used to refer to the cash register at a store. Today, modern POS systems are entirely digital, which means you can check out a customer wherever you are. All you need is a POS app and an internet-enabled device, like a tablet or phone.

Using the POS system can have a positive effect on your business. It allows you to have better control over your business operations. With a POS system, you know exactly which products you have sold on daily or monthly bases, how many products are in the warehouse or how much money you have made.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

There are always chances of improvements and you have to walk with them in order to survive as well as face the challenges of a competitive world. We have many things in mind and consistently working on how we can improve our system. Although, we have achieved for what we were striving for, but We are considering some modules of the system to be converted into voice assistant and in future, it would be done.
