We are developing an AR and 3d modelling based E-commerce application. it will provide the users with an online/live try room. we plan on targeting pakistani wedding wear. 

In Pakistan, the brides and the grooms do not have the luxury of trying on their wedding dresses, the shop owners do not allow the brides to try on the dresses as they are very expensive. 

With this application the brides will be able to get an idea of what the dress would look like on the, and wether or not it compliments their personality.

With 3D modelling, The user will first enter their measurements and the application will provide the user with a suitable 3D model. The user will then take a picture of their face and with face cutting algorithm the application will cut the face of the user and apply it on the 3D model. The clothes will adjust to the 3D model and they will be able to see the final output on there mobile device.

Our main aim is to make it an AR based application. where in AR feature, user will select the garment that they wish to see displayed on them. After they have selected the garment, with the help of the back camera of there phone they will be able to see the selected garment displayed on them and they will be able to then take picture and save it on there phones. AR will provide a much more realistic environment for the user.

Project Objectives

The project objective is to make this application a 3D and AR based application which will allow the users to try on different clothes.

With 3D model based application, it will provide a suitable model and apply the users face on the model, after which the user will be able to select different bridal dresses and see it displayed on the model.

With the AR based mobile application, it will use the back camera of the phone and AI to detect the edges of the person, then it will display the selected bridal dresses on the person in front of the camera.

Project Implementation Method

firstly we plan on developing a E-commerce application using Flutter. And once that is done we will make the UI as user friendly as possible and so that everyone can use it and enjoy there time on the application. 

we will then start working on 3D modelling using MAYA game engine. 

next step will be to add garments to the application using a game engine, the garments will be designed and added.

face cutting feature will be added to the application using face cutting algorithm. 

we will then start working on adding the AR feature and also we will be using AI so that the application can detect the person that is standing in front.

Benefits of the Project

The general problem arrives in online shopping due to customer satisfaction regarding garment/clothing appearance. The colour of the garment that we see on the E-commerce store is sometimes not the actual colour and once it is delivered to us, it is actually some other colour. With this application the user will get an exact idea of the colour of the garment before placing an order.

We are cutting down the hassle of trial room. sometimes we end up taking a lot of different garments in the try room and things get messy, and with people waiting outside to get in, it can get a bit hectic as well. most of the times it is us waiting outside to get a chance to try on out clothes. With this application the user can try on clothes from all the different brands from around the world by just sitting at home.

The other major issue that arises is the hygienic issue when we have to try on the jeans that has been tried on by several other people.

We are cutting down the risk of damaging expensive clothes.

This will also be good for the differently abled people to try on clothes without having to leave the house.

Shopping online is much more efficient it saves us both time and cost of travelling to the mall.

When AR facilities are provided return rate goes down by 64%.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable
