Project Area of Specialization Computer ScienceProject SummaryThe main theme of this project is to increase agricultural productivity. A 10 years research and development plan on irrigation water and soil optimization of 10 square miles around Multan region. In this scenario, System collects samples of soil and water to check characteristics of the soil and water used for crops and irrigation in the region for studying their effects on crops yield. By collecting the survey information and sampling data that can be further analyzed for future planning and research can be done to improve the productivity of agricultural lands and to improve the farming practices that are affecting from the soil and ground water in the region.
We will provide a functionality to find the latitude and longitude of sampled field .The attributes of soil and water of specific location which input user will submit after the sampling, we will show all attributes on the map at the location where the field is sampled,
In Android interface we will add functionality of reporting of yearly crops of the fields.
This is providing efficient data record management and reporting capabilities, by using web and android interface.
Project ObjectivesThe main objective of this project is to increasing agricultural productivity.
- A 10 years research and development plan on irrigation water and soil optimization of 10 square miles around Multan region.
- Provide a functionality to find the latitude and longitude of sampled field .
- In Android interface ,Provide functionality of reporting of yearly crops of the fields.
- Find out which land is producing more crops and which less is.
- The main thing which motivate us the features of sampled field will be seen on map.
- Providing efficient data record management and reporting capabilities, by using web and android interface.
The project will use data collected from various fields. Store the data into secure database ,and display various fields on the map. Collect samples of soil and water from various fields then analyses those samples and store their characteristics into database.

This project is a coordinated effort plan at MNS-University of Agriculture, Multan for the improvement of crop yields and betterment of farm lands and soil condition and to deal with the water problems that are most frequent throughout the country especially South Punjab Region. Proposed system is a research-based project that can help them in making correct decisions and policies so that they can contribute to the agriculture sector and farmers from whole Region.
The project is a software system based on a normalized research database that offers location based (i.e. GPS) data collection and efficient record management and data analysis. System has 2 API sharing a common repository.
