To meet the demands of this demanding world, we are introducing Intelligent-Glasses capable of performing difficult, time-consuming, and costly tasks. Intelligent-Glasses have the ability to assist individuals who suffer from amnesia (forgetting people/things) and individual who forget his phone at home. I-Glasses consist of

  5. Raspberry pi (GPU & Bluetooth module.Certain individuals suffer from amnesia or short-term memory loss/weak memory, which causes them to forget the person they met. Another issue arises when someone leaves his phone at home and wishes to capture an image/video of the moment but is unable to do so. Intelligent-Glasses are beneficial in both situations

Project Objectives

The following objectives are expected to be met in order to achieve success:

  • To extract a face section from a video frame (Two times: one for saving, second for comparing).
  • To save the identified face in the database together with a note (name and reason of meeting).
  • To communicate (in audio) to system i.e., to get information about the specified person.
  • Allowing the user to add/delete a new individual with a name and a purpose.
  • To enable users to record images/videos at any time and from any location by clicking button or issuing a simple command such as "take a picture" or "create a movie”.

Project Implementation Method

Certain individuals suffer from amnesia or short-term memory loss/weak memory, which causes them to forget the person they met. Another issue arises when someone leaves his phone at home and wishes to capture an image/video of the moment but is unable to do so. Intelligent-Glasses are beneficial in both situations.

We are using the face recognition technique on live video sequences. This project will done with this fantastic “Open-Source Computer Vision Library”, the OpenCV. OpenCV will help us in designing computational efficiency and with a strong focus on real-time applications. So, it’s perfect for real-time face recognition using a camera.Instead of an online clouding, a storage device will be used as a database to evaluate system performance. To improve the quality of the video/image, we'll use high-resolution camera(s) such as 1080p or 2k. To assess audio quality, an ear bud and microphone of the highest quality will be used. According to the project, the proposed system will recognize individuals for users suffering from amnesia using the Python OpenCV library.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

This system will be completely automated and capable of producing high-definition images. It will capable of recognizing spontaneous facial expressions. We will utilize this system in the real world for individuals with impaired memory. This project will determine whether or not the individual depicted in the image is already stored in our database. Similarly, the system will capture images and videos via camera and store them on the cloud for later use. However, this system will have some limitations. If another person issues the same command, it will carry out the program's instructions.
