Project Summary

Being beautiful is a life-Long career for all women. With no doubt, they spend numerous time and money on purchasing, searching, as well as testing different new cosmetic product. Unfortunately, it is common that they are unable to find even one make-up product which suits them.To facilitate women's process in choosing and purchasing appropriate cosmetic product, we develop a new Application called FaceT. It is a one-stop platform which provides information of diverse cosmetic product for enhancing women's experience in shopping for cosmetic products.

Project Objectives

To ease users in finding out the cosmetic products which suit them best.To help users understand the effect of different makeup products.To locate retail stores selling concerned cosmetics.To provide a platfform for users to share their views on different cosmetics.To allow user's contribution by letting them add new cosmetic products to the database.

Project Implementation Method

Technical analysis

 Analysis of the technical and engineering aspects of the project needs to be done continually when a project is formulated. Technical analysis seeks to determine whether the prerequisites for the success full commissioning of the project have been considered and reasonably good choices have been made.

Financial analysis

Financial analysis seeks to ascertain whether the proposed project will be financially viable in the sense of being able to meet the burden of servicing debt and whether the proposed project will satisfy the return expectations of those who provide the capital.

Benefits of the Project

Store locator: 

 Users can search for the nearby shops or retailers selling a certain product, which saves their time from walking around and finding the cosmetics they want.

Product Recommendation

The function will analyze the facial condition of a user and recommend some suitable makeup.

Skin Color Detection:

Users can take a facial picture or import a facial image for detecting skin color.After detection users check which make-up user use which product they buy.
