Project Summary

Our project as FACE RECOGNITION ATTENDANCE SYSTEM, This project will automate the attendance of each and every employee of an organization by capturing the image of every employee by using CCTV Camera, when the employee enter to the organization the system will automatically capture the image of each and every employee, after capturing the image of employees the system will analyze the newly captured image with the pre-existing images in database, if the image is matched then the attendance of employee will automatically mark.

This project will help us to improve the security of an organization by counting how many numbers of people enters the organization and how many to them going out form the organization, it means that it will count the total number of people enter the organization and the total number to people going out from the organization.

This project will also calculate the salary of each and every employee at the end of each month by following the organization rules and regulations if someone comes late to the organization the system will tell them that you are " XXX " minute late.

Project Objectives

The purpose of this project is to automate the attendance system of organization, this problem not only exists in CECOS University but it exist almost in every organization that each and every employee of organization use manual attendance system or fingerprints system, this project will automate the attendance system of employee and will calculate the salary of each and every employee at the end of the month, if someone comes late to the organization the system will automatically tell them that you are xxx minute late, the salary will also calculate on the  basis of their presence in organization,

Project Implementation Method

The requirement and literature survey of our project is completed and now we are in the phase of coding, we have divided our whole project into five different modules i.e, 

•Face Detection

•Face Datasets

•Face Recognizer

•Salary of Employee

•Employee Counting

the implementation part is almost 70%  completed, the remaining part will be completed in the next 3 weeks.

Benefits of the Project

The benefits of this project are to automate the attendance system to avoid the waste of time, now a day almost in every organization the employee mark their attendance either manually or by using fingerprints system, the fingerprints system is although the most reliable fingerprints system but it waste a lot of time to marks your attendance, that is why we have started this project to avoid the waste of time and automate the attendance system by using face recognition.

The salary calculation of employees is now a day a major in almost every organization, this project will calculate the salary of every employee at the end to each and every month on the basis of the presence of an employee in an organization.

Security is also one of the major issues of every organization, with the help of this project we are trying to improve the security of the organization bu counting the number of people enter the organization.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

In this project, we will just need a CCTV Camera that will capture the images of an employee.
