Project Area of Specialization Computer ScienceProject SummaryFor automobile owners who wants to locate its vehicle at every time and get notified in case of accident, EverTracker is a vehicle locating device that has its own app and notifies about any accident unlike local GPS trackers with high cost and they did not have any app to control their device, it provides the services to individuals in relatively low cost. Along with increasing demands for automobiles, a drastic increase can be seen in road accidents. As per data given by 1.35 million people die every year due to road accidents. This number is sufficient enough to show the global crises of road safety & creates a need to improve the road safety facilities & rescue operation system. In most cases when a road accident occurs, the rescue team or the police authorities are not informed in time. Furthermore, the delay caused by the rescue team in reaching the accident site & the heavy traffic congestion in between the accident location and the hospital facilities increases the risk of death for the victim. To overcome this issue, we have come up with this accident detection system which will help the victims get rescued well in time and reduce the risk of death caused by road accidents. The system includes a chip which has a sensor, GPS and GSM module.
- The sensors will detect the accident. The GPS will track the location coordinates and the GSM will send an alert notification to the nearby hospital & police authorities. Thus, this system will send an instant alert to the nearby rescue team & hospital facility to notify them of the accident occurred for them to take immediate actions.
Stolen cases of cars and motorbikes are also increasing day by day. As per the data given by 50 thousand cars and motorbikes was stolen in last year in Pakistan. This number is sufficient enough to show the Pakistan crises of stolen which need some solution to reduce stolen cases.
Same chip will also work as a tracker which can be used as a safety measure for the vehicles. Whenever the vehicle is moved or hit it will alarm a buzzer as well as a notification will be sent to the owner’s mobile.

Owner of car is going to track his vehicle using our device which is connected with app and able to see where is his car. - Safety:
In any case of accident all the details of his vehicle will be send to the emergency system like hospital and blood bank etc. - Privacy:
Owner can also set privacy like if starnger open his car or sit in his car message will be send to his app.
- App implementation method
The system comprises of 4 major modules with their sub-modules by using android studio framework as follows:
1. User:
User can register using personal details. User can login in his personal account email id and password. User can edit their profile as well as add Emergency Contacts. User will be able to see the Sensor readings i.e., Sound Meter and Accelerometer readings. User can also stop/start the detection system. The system in the background will be continuously monitoring the Sound decibel value and accelerometer for any Accident type impacts. If it finds the App Notifies the User to verify if it’s a false alarm, if no action is done in 10 secs the Ambulance is assigned & notifies Hospital, Ambulance and Police about the accident with the location & User details. History of Accident detections & details. User will be notified if system detects an Accident. User can also track his car using tracker used in chip and can safe his car from stolen.
2. Admin:
Admin can login his account using id and password. Admin is the only person who can manage Hospital data and provide credentials to them. Admin can manage Ambulance data and provide credentials to them. Ambulances are also mentioned if they work independently or are owned by Hospitals. View all the Users registered in this system. View all the Accidents and details about it, can be filtered date wise.
3. Ambulance:
Ambulance driver can login his account using id and password. The driver can see the current accident location along with the User details, the driver can directly navigate through Google Maps. The Driver can update the status whether he has picked/dropped the User. The driver will get a notification if it is assigned a Pickup.
4. Hospital:
Hospital User can login his account using id and password. The User can see the current accident location assigned to his hospital if any. Hospital can also update the status whether the user has been admitted in the Hospital. List of all the Accidents and details about it assigned to his hospital. Hospital can also manage their owned Ambulances.
- Chip implementation method

• Speedy Recovery:
Every person involved in an accident can be served by this application. This application will send an alert to the trusted contacts of the user in case of any accident sensed by the device. The alert will include the time and GPS location of where the accident has taken place. The trusted contacts will be informed as there is an accident sensed. Thus, speeding up the process of rescuing the patient.
• Avoid False Alert:
Accident is notified automatically by the application. Also, user is given the option to stop the alert before being sent by app in case of a false alarm in notification bar for a short amount of time to decrease the rate of false alarm as well as chances of harm in other case.
• Authorized Hierarchy:
All the major systems like hospital, ambulance, users and accident reports can be monitored by Admin. No unauthorized usage is allowed therefore the chance for mishandling / misleading the important resources will be non-existent. The admin will always have a bird’s eye view of things.
• Reduction in Deaths:
Death cases due to late detection of accident will reduce. The more efficient rescue there will be, the more chances of saving the life will be.
• Avoid Stealing:
Stolen cases will reduce by the use of our chip because it will always be securing the GPS location and we will know where the car is whenever we want to know.
