Project Area of Specialization Shared EconomyProject SummaryThis is an Event Management system that serves the functionality of an event scheduling. The purpose of this project is to register focal persons of each department and gives them access to register an event according to the schedule. Every registered focal person will get notification through s[AM1] ystem about different events. Each focal person can registered their events and other students can registered themselves for Election using this system. This system includes admin who manage system, focal person who will registered themselves to the system to get notified about the events and have opportunity to registered different events using this system according to defined schedule Focal persons can use this system to reserve their place of event according to defined schedule of events. Once the focal person of any department gives any update about event, then system provides latest notification or e-mail to other focal persons of departments. The system also facilitates the students to register itself for any happening election of particular society. The system is an online application that can be accessed within an organization. This application will help to automate the manual processing like, help to handle the event scheduling. This project is aimed at developing an application that helps for managing seminars and different events & society’s election within the university. The Application generally relates to a system and method to schedule events, and more particularly, to a system and method for scheduling that may have limitations for scheduling, such as geographical requirements, constraints by timing, conflicts, availability, or other factors. This Application leads to provide the user especially the student the reliability in finding the schedule of events at one place rather to go for each department in university. By this Application the matter of time which go in informing each other for the event and vote cast manually will also be solved out. With this application student will get a better medium for getting event Schedules and casting vote. This is important to implement this system because before it every event &election was managed and registered manually which takes a lot of time and was difficult to handle and maintain records. Now it will ease our work and record keeping will get easier.
Project ObjectivesThe objectives of event management and voting system is to manage event’s automatic time scheduling. Provide notification about the event that will be held in a university organized by different societies. Notification can seen by all department’s HOD and students. Each Focal person can register their events. By this system the matter of time to inform each other for the event will also be solved out. Also provide the online voting facility for societies. This system seeks to address issues related to the current students voting system which is manual and usage of a lot of paper in the election process. Save time and resources through this voting system.
