Project Summary

This is a ERP based system which will be used in restaurant. It is beneficial because it will reduce costs of waiters and tablets by making a web application and system, which will be easily accessed by scanning QR code that would be placed on every table of that specific restaurant using their personal smart phones. In this way human interaction will also reduce which is the major requirement of today’s world because of covid’19. Using this system customer will not only select their food item but they can also customize it according to their requirements and health precautions.

With that it will also make prediction about sales of food items and make predictions for future months so it will help restaurants in keeping their stock and will help management of restaurant in making decisions.

A Chat-bot will also be added in this system for 24/7 interaction with customers. Payment of food can be made through cash or other sources too including Easy paisa, Jazz cash, Credit card etc.

Project Objectives

1) Reducing human interaction to minimize spreading of covid’19.

2) Make recommendations of food items for customers based on their previous data using Machine Learning.

3) Helps on management side by making predictions of sales on basis of previous data using machine learning algorithms.

4) Minimization of costs by reducing number of waiters and tablets too.

5) Tracking of food-items which can help in making analysis for measuring point of sales.

6) Prevention of long - Queue in self service restaurants.

7) Customize spices on basis of customer’s taste/want(it will also help those who are health conscious).
8) We are also integrating chat-bot for 24/7 interaction and to answer or solve Customer queries related to restaurant.

Project Implementation Method

Basically this project is a Smart ERP system for restaurant with an e-menu and business Intelligence for analysis and prediction to increase sales of products.

We are undertaking this project because it is reducing cost of salaries of waiters and reducing costs of tablets on each table by placing QR code on each table. Customers will scan that QR and then they will be able to place their orders using their own smartphones.

It is also helpful because it is also reducing human interaction because customers are not interacting with waiters and tablets.

On management side it also will make prediction of sales of item for next month on basis of previous data/sale record.

By using E-menu customer will not only able to order his/her food but can also customize it by changing ingredients/spices of that particular food which can be beneficial for health conscious people.

With the implementation of Payment integration in the system , Customers will also be able to process checkout through Credit Card CC and other methods like JAZZCASH,EASYPAISA etc.

Benefits of the Project

  • Project Deliverable 1: Our Project Deliverable will be a Web Application which will be access by customer by scanning QR code, by accessing that website customer will be able to access E-menu and make his order according to his customization.
  • Project Deliverable 2: It will make recommendations of food items for customers based on their previous data using Machine Learning.
  • Project Deliverable 3: That website on management side will help management by making predictions about sales of products for upcoming month on basis of previous sales.
  • Project Deliverable 4: Integrating chat-bot for 24/7 interaction and to answer or solve their       queries related to restaurant.
  • Project Deliverable 5: Customize spices on basis of customer’s taste/want (it will also help those who are health conscious).

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We will use NLP (Natural Language Processing) for chat-bot

We will use HTML, CSS BOOTSTRAP, REACT JS, JAVASCRIPT for front-end.

And for backend we will use PHP, .Net and Python.
