Every person desires consolation and simplicity in a single lifestyle, and modern-day home equipment is increasing hastily. The load call for of an ordinary individual is sort of doubled compared to information of a few years back due to modern-day appliances. The cutting-edge electricity era is not able to meet electricity demand. We proposed our scheme on a green load control machine with the help of an internet portal in order to be installed on the client end. we divided the weight into 3 sorts, primary, secondary, and luxury. we set a limit for the load which sends an alarming signal whilst load consumption exceeds the restriction and mechanically signals the person. We additionally upload solar energy for change delivery, so the user can without problems minimize his load consumption. With the help of a load management device, a person can without difficulty manage his/her utility bill and keep the money. As energy-producing plant life produces power from specific sources, for instance, furnace oil, Hydel, gas/Liquefied herbal gasoline (LNG), coal, nuclear strength, and renewable energy. It really shows that the contribution of furnace oil is extra big, which isn't always appropriate for the environment because of the high emission of CO2. The enormous emissions of CO2 inside the international are in particular because of the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gases which can be decreased with the aid of using renewable power like solar power this is surroundings pleasant.

Project Objectives

The objectives of this project are as follows:
The primary aim of this project is to set up a low-cost, automatic, and simple load management to work without any human intervention.                                                     Objectives to achieve this aim are:
• To develop and understand the concepts of load management for smart grid applications.
• To design prototype load management systems for smart grid applications.
• To analyze the designed system under different conditions.
This project will help with different load management including its control systems, and estimations, and set up the certain parameters that can control the load during peak and off-peak hours.

Project Implementation Method


This project has the following implementations:
1. We can use this project in smart housing societies, restaurants, etc. for efficient use of loads to decrease the cost per unit.
2. We can use this project in a library as well as for any departmental applications to reduce the electricity demand as compared to its required supply.
3. We can apply this project in hostels as well to protect critical infrastructure from the impacts of extended outages.
4. We can implement it in places where there is too much crisis of electricity.
5. We can also implement this project to balance the demand and supply of the user end.

 

Benefits of the Project

Some of the benefits of the project are as follows:
1. This allows each unit of electricity to be used more efficiently, lowering demand throughout the day.
2. This can reduce load consumption of costly power plants and better align electricity prices with the cost of generation.
3. This provides a reliable power supply with no scheduled or unscheduled load shedding.
4. This is simple and cost effective for any kind of user.
5. By the use of this project, we can easily overcome the problem of demand and supply.



 

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

       TECHNICAL DETAILS:

  1. WEMOS D1 MINI:  D1 mini is a small WIFI board based on the ESP-8266EX.
  2. CHARGER (5 VOLT):  The charger is connected with the DC devices that are responsible to step down the 220 V into 5 V.
  3. PZEM MODULE WITH CURRENT SENSOR: Function of measurement of electrical parameters ( voltage, current, active power).
  4. 4-CHANNEL RELAY: A control relay module is an electrical switch that is functioned by an electromagnet that can be triggered by a distinct short frequency signal coming from the microcontroller. When stimulated, the electromagnet pulls to moreover opened or closed an electrical circuit.
  5. BUZZER: An oscillating electronic circuit or some other input audio input could operate a piezo buzzer. A key getting pushed could be signaled by something like a clicking, buzzer, or ringing.
  6. ZENER DIODE (1M110ZS5): The Zener diode works in the same way as a regular diode after being forward-biased, and has a turn-on voltage of between 0.3 and 0.7 V
  7. CURRENT SENSOR (ACS712): It has a threshold frequency of 80 kHz. These means have the lowest functioning supply voltage of 4.4 Volts and an extreme of 6.6 Volts
  8. DIODES: This is the semiconductor device that essentially fits similarly to a unique-way switch for current. A diode will allow currents to flow easily in a single way.
  9. POTENTIOMETER (POT-HG):  A potentiometer is a passive electronic component. Potentiometers effort by changing the situation of an upward interaction through a uniform resistance.
  10. TRANSISTOR (2P2S): In simple words, we can say a transistor is a small device that controls and regulate the flow of electronic signal.
