Visually impaired people find difficulties detecting obstacles in front of them, during walking in the street, which makes it dangerous. The smart stick comes as a proposed solution to enable them to identify the world around them. I aim to build a programmable cane that can be used to help the blind in doing their daily routine works easily. It consists of hardware as well as software it may help the person to detect obstacles, stairs and water. SOS button, Bluetooth control buzzer and many other features are also included. It is very easy to operate as it is portable and chargeable.
There is a cap that will detect the obstacles on the head level.
GPS will help the homies to find the blind person.
The aim of the project is to development of a cane that could communicate with the users through voice alert and vibration, which is named Effective Quick Response Assistive Cane for Visually-impaired People.
