During this period of pandemic people have been mostly relied on the virtual platforms of different domains. So, in order to facilitate the users who are unable to visit themselves or the ones who want their regular medicines be refilled time to time within few clicks would have access to all the medicines or medical equipment from their nearby pharmacies in minimum timeframe and minimum effort, we would be developing an instant medicine home delivery android application that would surely be a contribution to another virtual platform.

Project Implementation Method

We are not providing medical services directly, but we are helping the medical world connect with the users.It would be a Android Mobile Application such as FoodPanda.Till now following modules have been decided.

User Side: Exploring the pharmacies: This module will connect the user with nearby (preferably within 10km) pharmacies. So they can find the most trusted or familiar names.

Check for availability of medicine and Payment : The user will check the inventory of the pharmacy for their required medicine and select the one that matches most of their requirements. the user can send the receipt to tell them medicines that will be delivered at their doorstep and it will generate a bill.

Tracking status of the Order: The system will entertain the user of the Order’s current location, it will help the user to be ready to attend and pay the rider for his/her medicine at the right time.

Fixed Medication: It will allow the user to have a fixed medication delivered without having to bother again and again for a certain period of time from a certain pharmacy.

User Profiling: Users will be profiled against the order histories and search history and will be recommended for the desired and needed results.

Administrator mode: This mode will provide admin privilege to the admin person as in Registering/updating the data related to pharmacies and Delivery person, History of orders , Surveillance of delivery persons and pharmacies. Delivery person/Pharmacy mode: This mode will have the Chat box and Order Information of the Selected pharmacy/Delivery boy. and the pharmacy user will have the module and authority to update the inventory of their own pharmac

Benefits of the Project

We have seen many online medicine delivery services, but medical issues do not end here. This pandemic has paralyzed our lives and each one of us prefers a high-level precaution to be safe. So, we prefer a system that solves our medicinal issues on a single platform without going out.

There are many diabetes patients who need more precautious than a healthy person but what if there is no one home to bring them medicine? What if they want someone to visit their home and give them this service following all the SOPs? In a nutshell, a medical facility is the basic need of every house. The optimal solution of all this mess is to create a single platform on mobile phones where the users do not have to check for availability of medicine at different pharmacies physically rather place an order through their mobile phones. The best solution is to have a single application where people can find medicine pharmacies from a single screen and within an effort of a few taps in a short time.

Our intention is to develop an application on android platform that will not only facilitate its user with an online instant delivery system of drugs(medicine) from licensed pharmacies but also authorize and validate the registration of its users and order placed. It will also offer a very easy and user-friendly interface to let everyone use it effortlessly. It will allow the user to place a medicine order and track the instant delivery status of the order. The first step to be taken to achieve these proposed objectives will be registering a user with an CNIC/Phone number to ensure that there is no misuse of the drugs. We will work on providing a very simple interface by developing and testing the front-end design and infrastructure multiple times.

System will track and feedback the user of order’s current status so that the user will be ready to take order on time. Our application will have following modes, the customer mode, the administrator mode, the Rider mode and the pharmacy mode.

This proposed project will be a major step in the pharmaceutical industry and business since it will not only enhance the purchase of the pharmaceutical products from multiple pharmacies but also facilitate people with online services of purchasing medicines and bringing about a change and ease to people life. The pharmaceutical chain is a very big industry in Pakistan and our proposed system will be a big help towards its business.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final deliverable would include Android Mobile Application For All the Stake holders.

The Admin would be able to register the rider and pharmacy and provide them their respective login credentials.

The user shall be able to view and choose pharmacies and order for their medicines.

The pharmacies would fullfill the order and the rider would get an auto generated request with pickup and drop location.
