It plays a huge role, from hiring job applicants to keeping the track of employee data whereas, the field of information technology (IT) involves creating, processing, storing, retrieving, and exchanging all kinds of information and data using computers. By combining both of them, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) serve as an interface between human resource management and information technology. It is a management system that provides managers with HR-related information.
As educational institutions grow in size, they need to manage more data about employees, which calls for efficient HRIS and payroll software. In that case, HRIS and payroll solutions help cater to the HR challenges faced while performing financial operations in institutes. Moreover, the institute’s HR department currently maintains employee data using an excel sheet and receives CVs through emails from the job applicants this system will make sure to provide a proper interface to job applicants and will also reduce HR’s burden. Furthermore, it reduces paper usage and printing costs, helping the business save money, and HR issues can also be analyzed quickly.
We are going to develop a web-based application that can be accessed via the internet and is going to cater educational institutions problems. It will help the HR and finance departments keep track of all employees and their personal information in one place using databases, whether it is hiring of new employees or computing payroll. Besides that, it will include a biometric machine for attendance management.
Human resource information systems have transformed the delivery and management of HR services in organizations. An effective HRIS can improve HR staff's efficiency, better inform them, and enable them to better communicate how they add value to the company. Researchers have shown that organizations that combine effective HR management processes with effective HR technology are likely to be more productive and more profitable than those that do not. Of course, the challenge for HR executives is to manage this technology for maximum benefits while, at the same time, minimizing the risks.

- Provide policy-customizable software to the institutes
- Reduce labor costs by integrating all components in one place
- Compute net salary on the basis of time, attendance and performance
- Maintain a better workplace by improving disciplinary management
- Provide promotions based on performance appraisals
For our project implementation method, we will be using Software Development Life Cycle, SDLC allows us to divide work into smaller parallel, or sequential steps in order to improve product management, design, and development. According to this process, our project will be divided into the following stages:
Planning: In the planning phase, we have identified the problem which needs to be tackled using this system.
Analysis: As part of the analysis stage, we observed and gathered the requirements of our project, as well as created first prototype ideas along with the SRS document.
System Design: Our team will start working on UI designs of the website during the system design stage and once all the design work is completed the team will get to the development of the website.
Coding/Development: After the completion of the designing stage, our team will proceed toward the back-end development stage.
Testing: Following the completion of the bulk of the work, it will be subjected to system testing.
Benefits of the ProjectThis system is mainly going to be designed and developed to replace the manual workload with an automated
system, which will not only improve the performance of the organization but also allow HR to play a more strategic
