E-cradle is an artificially intelligent cradle which will nurture the infant in an efficient way by monitoring different moods of the infant that whether the infant is sleeping, awoke or in an unhappy mood. If the infant is in unhappy mood, the E-cradle will play the music on the cradle and if the baby starts crying then the cradle will start rocking but if the baby does not stop crying within a stipulated time then an alert will be generated on the app installed in mobile phone of the parent.
Moreover, E-cradle will also learn that usually when and for how much time infant use to sleep so if the baby woke up after completing his/her sleep then it will just pop up a notification on the parent’s phone but not start rocking the cradle as infant does not need more sleep. E-cradle will also learn that with which type of music infant sleeps well so it will play music of that category for the infant. Parents will also be able to control the cradle swing and music remotely and live stream the baby through the E-cradle app. Detection of moods of the infant will be based on machine learning and image processing.
E-cradle will take care of the baby by learning sleeping patterns and detecting different moods of the infant without physical attention of parents. It will help parents in saving a lot of time and the time they use to baby sit their child could be spent in doing something else.
E-cradle will capture real time video and will extract frames from it. Then, it will select key frames from the previously extracted frames. After that, it will preprocess the image by enhancing, eliminating fuzziness, and making it machine readable. After preprocessing, the images will be segmented into various parts with accordance to similar attributes. This will make image more useful and easier for analysis. Then it will detect the objects within the image. After that, the expression will be recognized. The recognition will be machine learning based. After this complete process, system will suggest the possible actions with accordance to the environment using artificial intelligence.
Scope of our project is best for busy parents or such parents who are unable to give physical attention to their child every time.
But in real context we are trying to achieve two main goals:
1. To provide relaxation to busy parents regarding to give physical attention to their child.
2. To provide good nurture to the infants in an efficient way.
We will be deliver two modules :
1. By using android application user/parent can control cradle manusally. Following features will be included (Moving Cradle, Playing Song, Live Stream).
2. Second one is totally hardware base like totally base on Artificial Intelligence.
