Same destination, more companionsDshare is like a carpooling system. Mainly for university Students in order to provide daily feasible commute to the ones who want to go to the university with their mates.It lets every student to enjoy their ride from their prime Location to the university with the mates of their own choice while having the dshare ride.
Dshare let you to be a host and drive your own conveyance and highlights the marks on the map for the nearest students to so that host can pick them up from their respective locations & enjoy the ride together. The main background for this feasible carpooling app is to provide security mainly for the female students. Nowadays a women is not safe anywhere but due to some reasons females have to travel alone somewhere from this idea we will let the girls, women, students, teachers & everyone  to have the safe journey with the people who makes you Comfortable & Confident.


                         WORKING 

For the App development we are using Android Studio in which all the above mentioned functions are going to be implemented some of them are under development and some of them are developed like we used the integration with the Firebase Database to store users history / data / ride scheduling etc. When a user / host schedules a ride, he/she will get upto 5 routes to the destination so that the host can choose the one which suites him the most. Those students who lives near the polylines will get a Notification and on the basis of their interest or the schedule for going university students will send their request to the host so that they can travel together. For this Notification purpose we have used Cloud Computing and API's for the nearest students. 
While on the other side if we talk about the security purpose of the app we have the web based admin panel so that admin can control the student registration activity and secure the miscellenous sign ups or block the spams. 
 

Requirements: 
64-bit Microsoft  Windows 8/10
16gb RAM or SSD to run android studio & emulator seemlessly .



 

Project Objectives

  • The Native mobile application for Students and a web application for Admin
  • At the point when the understudy register in college he will give a location who can be saved as an essential area in this application. In the interim, this application has the area of each understudy
  • Student can affirm a ride and become as a host
  • Assuming a host needs to affirm a ride, before the booking and affirmation application will as certain inquiries to the host like:
  • Pickup Point?
  • What is the vehicle type?
  • How many seats you have?
  • After confirming a ride the student is now become a host now he has a ride as per schedule and also have a map with polyline of routes from his primary location to the university
  • All the students who live nearer to the polyline of the route which will go for university can be notified (ex. Xyz student will going university at 2:00 pm tomorrow.
  • If the students who notified and also want to go for university can be request at one click.
  • Now The Host can watch requests with the student’s profiles, if he has 3 seats left, he can
  • obviously accept 3 of students.
  • Selected students can be notified as confirmed with the scheduled ride screen with the main
  • Host Student’s Location
  • Who are not selected can be notified as “sorry xyz student has been selected another 3”.
  • Now The Host can watch the markers as a pickup location of the students who he have to pick.
  • Students can track All the Location of Host
  • Admin can watch Whole system for security purpose
  • Admin has fully access to control whole the system.
  • Admin has an access to track all the user’s location.
  • Admin also has an opportunity to take action against on the bad rating of the Host and students
  • As well he can change student’s location on their request.
  • All the Students has there maintained history of their previous orders

Project Implementation Method

                               IMPLEMENTATION

For FYP 1:

  • Design Full Front End of mobile app for the students and the WEB app for the Admin
  • Student can become host and confirm a ride
  • Multiple Polylines of the Students from their houses and university will be appear
  • Nearest Students Will be notified
  • Nearest Student can request
  • Host can be Accept
  • Confirmed Students now can see schedule ride
  • Rejected Students will receive Rejected Message
  • Pickup's markers can be shown in map which can be appears on Host Screen
  • History can be maintained for Students for their rides.
  • Students can track Host

For FYP 2:

  • Admin can access all the system
  • Admin can watch all the history
  • Students can request admin to change their location
  • Admin can change Students History
  • When a Host pick a student the marker’s design of a picked student will be changed.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The Final deliverable of our fyp would be the complete Software working well from both the end , from user and from admin. all the students those who are registered are properly getting their notifications. Hosts are accepting and rejecting the notifications and polylines should be working well. For these deliverable we would have in need of posters , ppts, reports , software, laptop , code, everything that can make the project more elaborative. The following things will be the final deliverable for this project.
