The main objectives of our proposed system are as follows:
1. Monitoring water consumption in an efficient way.
2. Providing a (smart) technology/system for water consumption measuring and processing.
3. Reducing human time, effort and resources involved in the various method of water wastage reduction such as water recycling, water-storing infrastructure, water management, water reclaiming & controlling pollution and better sewage treatment.
4. Transforming concept, attitude and all forms of consumption, from individual use to industries.
5. Resulting in not only more awareness but less water scarcity. Ergo, clean water available

The project's implementation consists of two parts. The first utilizes a digital meter which may be constructed or bought online. The second part involves taking data from it and utilizing IOT technology to transfer data across the home Wi-Fi connection and display it on mobile interfaces of the end-user. Raspberry Pi will be used in that end to take data from the device and use a Wi-Fi connection to upload usage data to the cloud. The mobile app will then take this data from the cloud and display it to the user.
The use of ultrasonic technology is due to the fact that even though mechanical implementations are cheaper in the short run, they are far more susceptible to wear and tear and inaccuracies when particles or objects pass through them and therefore not sustainable in the long run.
The monitoring technology will consist of a mobile interface that will not only keep track of water usage
