Disease Detector is a disease prediction app that will tell you the possible disease by checking the reports of patients. Moreover, it will provide a user friendly interface and a simple design so that people from any age group can access it. Firstly, any user that want to have access to our application feature he/she would have to make an account (registration). Then the user will have an option to check certain types of diseases by using our data science models. He/She will have to provide their relative report to see the possible disease that they might have. The app will also maintain the medical and prediction history of the user meanwhile the user can mark the app prediction either right or wrong in order to improve our data science model. After successful prediction of disease, User will be shown the relative doctor information so that he/she can make an appointment to treat his/her disease. There will also be an Emergency button that will make a call to the ambulance to the address of the user so they can come quickly and take the patient to the nearest hospital. If the user does not possess their reports he/she can also predict his/her disease by just selecting the symptoms he/she is currently suffering from. Lastly, the app will require the user to give feedback and rate our models so that more work and improvement can be done.
The main objective of this project is to make the user aware of the possible diseases he is suffering from and also to minimize the visit to the doctor just to read his/her report. Nowadays, everyone is working from home and has a busy schedule but after the construction of this application, this will not be a big deal for them. The significance of this application cannot be denied as it will keep track of the user’s health data as well as offering meaningful services. Before, it was extremely difficult for people to make sure that their reports are good or not but now it can be checked in just a few clicks. This application can therefore be extremely beneficial for the general public.
We will be following the Agile methodology where we will be using VS Code, Android Studio, Firebase, Adobe Photoshop, Jupyter Notebook, Flask api, Flutter, Dart, Python.
This application that we will be developing will help individuals who are busy as they will be able to get in touch with their parents medical history. They will also be able to get in touch on behalf of their parents.
Final Deliverable will be in a form of Mobile Application that will be initially availble on the android platform.
