Through research it is expected that in coming few years number of communicating devise will exceed 50 billion. This is almost double as compared to the today’s number. In 5G technologies, this key factor also needs to be considered. In conventional cellular system all communications take place via base station and are not allowed to connect with each other in licensed cellular bandwidth. Shifting from conventional network to 5G will bring massive challenges such that existing system performance may get compromised.

  1. To ensure better performance of 5G network compared to the existing microcell BSs.
  2. To Design Machine-to-Machine communication infrastructure for future 5G

       networks for fulfillment of future spectrum/ and data traffic requirements.

3.  To overcome reliability and energy efficiency challenges in m2m.

4.  To understand study related to 5G technology and basic architecture.

Project Implementation Method

Different Research papers will be reviewed. MATLAB based 5G scenario will be established. Then efficient Machine-to-Machine network infrastructure will be implemented for using available spectrum dynamically. Here first work of previous research papers will be analyzed and then these results will be compared with simulated results of our proposed algorithm. Guidance from academic supervisor as well as commercial supervisors will be taken if required.  

Benefits of the Project

This research is best fitted for future communication system and overcoming upcoming congestions in future networks. It will enable future networks to accommodate a large pool of users without any blackouts and inconveniences.
