Project Implementation MethodThe first step will be to implement this project in eperiment labs of NUST as pilot project to perform a number of academic experiments of Mechanical Engineering. It will be alternative to high cost foreign-made experimental equipments
Benefits of the ProjectUnlike regular lab equipment, our kit would be modular, customizable, with electronic measurements, and have less cost for the capabilities it will offer. Our kit combines many experiments and their different variations in a single base by using the concept of LEGO. Our user will get flexibility to design the desired mechanism they want to study using parts and sensors provided. Initially we are focusing on kit for the concepts of engineering mechanics e.g. 4-bar, gears, geneva, etc.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableOur area of work is mechanical and electronic design and analysis of the kit to prove it to be a stable usable product. Initially we are focusing on engineering mechanics and combining its different concepts on an universal base with modular parts, offering learning experience through flexibility to consumer. It will also incorporate sensors and actuators to show the digital, realtime values of readings that are otherwise calculated theoratically
