Faculty development empowers personal and professional growth so there is a great need for faculty development plans. The aim of this study is to develop a system that can manage faculty profiles and it can generate a faculty development plan according to the profiles and qualifications of the faculty members based on their individual personal data sheets. The system can also recommend further trainings for faculty members based on their specializations. Meanwhile the system data can be used for administrative prospective as well.

Project Objectives

The main objective of this project is design to reduce the effort of administrative staff

• The faculty module is for faculty member, where they can update their personal information using the digital faculty profiling form that is saved in a database for future use.
• The faculty calendar module is for activity monitoring, which allows the user to see the schedule of a specific faculty member.
• The administrative module that can generate the reports for administrative tasks for correspondence of external bodies like NCEAC, PEC, and HEC.
• The capability enhancement advisor module of the system generates the faculty development plan.

Project Implementation Method

Our project is based on Hitec Faculty System for faculties to handle their work and maintain record easily instead of making a lot of paper work. This can be achieved by Hitec Faculty System based on Android application. Providing Hitec Faculty System is a huge achievement so that faculties can take a view to their work while they are on move. Faculty can do work effectively and efficiently by managing of all the stuff which can be done easily. Faculties can easily interact with the students directly so that each time there is no need to inform each student. Better secure transfer of the all information provided using latest technologies. Updating, Inserting, and all the operations can be done easily and efficiently. This Hitec faculty System will be most useful in future so that reducing paper work will affect the time as well as the environment.

Benefits of the Project

The system entitled Faculty Profiling and Capability Enhancement Advisor System was successfully designed and developed. The system can generate Faculty Development Plan

based on Personal Data Sheet and produces a document file that they can submit in the Human Resource Management Office and recommends a faculty for training.
