A circumstance like this underscores the significance of detecting and recognizing laser hazards as soon as possible.This demands that friendly platforms be equipped with a sufficient laser-warning sensor that can offer timely information about the approaching laser danger with a high level of angle-of-arrival precision, allowing appropriate countermeasures to be taken. A laser warning system design is proposed. The laser sensors are used for timely detection of approaching laser hazard in such a way that warning is displayed to the user so he can take precautionary measures within time. A reciever equipped with laser sensors recieve the guided laser and warns the user about the danger of incoming laser. All in all, this project recieves and displays the laser warning from guided laser hazards.
Project ObjectivesOur main objective is to construct a warning system that can be used as a defense system for threat alert. We also intend to detect, analyze and locate directions of laser emissions from laser guidance systems and laser rangefinders. It examines the vulnerability of laser warning systems against guided weapons. It is an evaluation tool for laser warning sensors(LWS) and seekers. It is a suitable counter-measure for laser beam-riding missiles that use low power lasers in their guidance systems.
Project Implementation MethodFirstly, a literature review was conducted for the sole purpose of research and planning of project. A prototype was produced for testing of the system. The control system design of project uses Arduino Uno and Arduino Nano for controlling the circuit. An array of photodiodes is mounted on the chasis consisting of four wheels. An IR transmitter transmits wavelength of 903 nm towards the photodiode array. The array recieves the morse code encoded signal and displays the alert that a laser is pointed towards user's car. The wheels are driven by DC motors that help the user in moving backward. The user can also take other counter measures for his security. The prototype was succesful and at the end, a hardware control sytem of project was implemented succesfully. The hardware recieves and displays warning of laser hazards.

A control system for laser warning reciever is delivered to user. The morse code encoded signal transmitted from IR transmitter is recieved by an array of photodiodes which generate a high signal that a threat is recieved. The signal is displayed to the user with help of 7 segment display. The user can move backward as a counter measure with help of DC motor driven wheels connected to the chasis. The user can also take other counter measures for avoiding the laser threat. Our project will deliver a laser warning reciever for security purposes against threats to user.
