Design, Development and Analysis of Turbo Molecular Pump under Dynamic Loading Conditions
The performance of a Turbo Molecular Pump (TMP) highly depends on the frequency of the rotor. The rotor deflection increases with the increase in its rotational speed. Therefore, the quality of material and blade design can be modified in order to obtain stable performance at a higher speed. The aim of this project is to improve the design, develop and analyze the pump rotor to obtain a reduced deflection under dynamic load conditions.
The project will provide a design and model of the TM pump with improved dynamic loading. This objective will be obtained by varying the blading configuration and rotor physical parameters.
