Motor reducer is a machine that decreases the speed and increases the torque. Reducer motor assembly includes a mechanical transmission device that connects the motor to a driven load. Reducer motor moves Gun Mantlet and need for test bench is for the prediction of the accuracy of assembly. Software and hardware-based system to find the practical values of reducer motor assembly and to check whether it is capable of drifting load or not. Need for test bench is for the prediction of the accuracy of assembly . Test bench perform multiple tasks measure and compare the ratings.
Objective of our project is to simulate a mathematical model by using Simulink, to find the parameters of reducer motor assembly, to implement Simulink model into hardware and and to check whether it is capable of drifting load or not.
First of all we learned about the assymbly then proposed an alternative model which is simulation based, after that we approch for hardware and test the motor and test the assymbly and how much load it can bear. Now we will change simulation according to tested and found values, at the end all instruments on the electrical test bench will be calibrated and located in one place.
As the industry does not have a test bench to test reducer assembly, it takes time to connect with a gun and check whether it is working or not Improves overall shop cleanliness, organization, presentation, and time-saving. Every time Reducer motor is testing at different places and connected to gun which took so long and if it is not woking then disassemble this whole machine to avoid such time taking process we are going to proposed this model so that labor save time and industry can get benefits from it.
Different test bench is available in the market but they do not provide such testing or not according to testing reducer assembly in one place. Prevents safety hazards by performing assembly checks. All instruments on the electrical test bench are calibrated and located in one place. Controlled environment for performing testing of reducer assembly.
