The Air Conditioner is a device which provides us a comfortable environment by maintaining the desired temperature.
But the problem is that the conventional Air Conditioners are not energy efficient.
Our idea is to converter the conventional air conditioners to DC inverter Air Conditioners through the mean of an electric kit.
First they will be energy efficient.
Second they will be achieved at low cost.
Third you will not have to sell your own Air Conditioners and buy a new one.
Project Objectives•Making the conversion of conventional air conditioners to DC inverters possible.
•To develop a control system for compressors of non-inverter air conditioner to work on optimum conditions.
•To develop a variable frequency drive for the desired functionality of the compressor by means of the converter and inverter.
•Design of a cost efficient DC inverter.
Project Implementation Method–Designing of Variable Frequency Drive(VFD) for system.
–Design and development of a Rectifier circuit for conversion of AC in to DC.
–Design a DC intermediate circuit for smoothing DC voltage.
–Designing of PWM inverter.
–Analyse the results.
–Integrate ,testing and finalize the system.
