DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF CATAPULT FOR AERIAL GLIDER
The purpose of this project is to design, build, test and operate a launching system for a small fixed wing unmanned aerial Glider. The goal is to create a system that is both portable and reliable to use, only requiring a two-person team to use effectively in the field.
The project is divided into two phases. The first phase includes research on different designs, design finalization and development of a 3D CATIA Model. The 2nd phase is based on the material procurement and manufacturing of the catapult device.

This project is the cost effective solution to the problem faced by aero-modelers concerning unavailability and constructing lengthy and smooth runway fields with less portability and mobility.
This also eliminate the problem of using a dedicated area for take-off within the acceptable cost feasibility

We are making a launcher that use to launch a glider from any field. We are using bunjee system which give us a large scale of force to throw glider
