DESIGN AN AUTOMIZED AUTO ADJUSTABLE (AAA) SOLAR TRACKING SYSTEM

Becquerel claimed that “shining light on an electrode submerged in a conductive solution would create an electric current.”
Later In 1939, Russell Owl created the solar cell that is used in many modern solar panels.
Russell Owl patented his design in 1941.
In 1954, this design was first used by Bell Labs to create the first commercially viable silicon solar cell . Now in 2020 the solar panels are widely spread all around the world and are used as a best renewable energy resource.
The main objective of this project is to catch maximum solar energy on solar panel.
Design a more reliable and efficient dual axis solar tracking system.
To generate power from solar panel using dual axis tracker.
To track every position of the sun
Solar tracking system is the most appropriate technology to enhance the efficiency of the solar cells by tracking the sun. A microcontroller based design methodology of an automatic solar tracker will be designed.
The dual-axis working will be similar to single axis but it captures the solar energy more effectively by rotating in the horizontal as well as the vertical axis.
The tracker model is composed of four LDR sensors, two stepper motors and microcontroller.
One set of sensors and one motor is used to tilt the tracker in sun’s east to west direction and the other set of sensors and the other motor which is fixed at the bottom of the tracker is used to tilt the tracker in the sun’s north-south direction.
The stepper motors are basically performing function of sun tracking.
Ability of tracking sunlight at any weather.
Proposed dual axis solar tracker is cost effective.
Higher degree of accuracy in directional pointing.
Installation is easy and operates automatically.
Less power consumption by internal circuit and motors.
when we will make the dual axis solar tracker we will be able to acheive more efficiency and the tracker will move in more directions and 360 degree.
