With an AR app you’ll be able to place any piece of furniture into your apartment without needing to bring it there physically. It can even scale the furniture and change colors, so you can choose that perfect sofa for your living room. It provides the range of designed room-templates additional to those, which the user can create by himself with the camera on the mobile device. All presented products like tables, chairs, beds, floors, curtains and others can be changed and selected by colors, fabrics, patterns and styles.

Project Implementation Method

We have used ARcore google library that builds new augmented reality experiences that seamlessly blend the digital and physical worlds. We added the Sceneform fragment to an Android application which handles ARCore session creation, requesting camera permission, as well as provide common UX elements. Sceneform provides the high level API for rendering 3D models using Java. This helps make creating AR experiences easier. Through 3D max software we made several 3D models and save them in the SQL lite database and then integrate that database with Android studio to get the 3D models

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

3D max software is used to make 3D models, ARcore google library and Sceneform fragment is used to experience augmented reality, and SQL lite database for storing data that is integrated with Android studio. The final app will use to experience augmented reality like one can place furniture of his choice to any place to get the idea if the selected furniture is suitable for placement or not.
