Customizable Digital Control System For Domestic Application, With Embedded IOT Capability
We are going to design a sophisticated but yet very intuitive and low-cost mechanized Touch Screen Control Panel System. We aim to make interface look very presentable, efficient, customizable, and user friendly. This will be done by a low-cost efficient processor (Beagle Bone, Tinker Board, or Raspberry Pi) with a Touch Screen with the help of Software-Hardware interface devices, all these electronic modules will be working on the control panel concurrently.
The proposed system handles the load calculation, usage and the system also intelligently schedule the power by shifting load to other available (renewable) sources to save energy. Our system can give you peace of mind with the 24/7 monitoring of locks, motion sensors, and also gas leakage, fire detection system for user safety.
Our project consist of
Each sensor contain a wifi module which trasmits its data to the main server (development board) .First we will establish communication between the small components (sensors, boards). We will read data and display them on website creating a local server. Then we will try to communicate it on internet. For controling appliance we will establish communication between two wifi modules (client-server method) , one will be connected to touch modules and the other will be connected to appliances via relays. Then we will connect it with our main server.
We will also work on an intelligent fan dimmer, that will hold the assigned speed however the supply voltage fluctuates (low or high).
After above working we will start working on designing GUI (graphical user interface) for TFT (touch screen) control. Our GUI is an android base system installed in a development board controlled by a touch screen.

In this era of digitization and automation, the life of human beings is getting simpler because almost everything is mechanized. Automation saves money, time, and reduces the human interface. An emerging trend in the modern world is to have a sophisticated centralized control system, to manage all frequently used electronic modules within the buildings and other workplaces. This demonstration will allow the end-users to manipulate a fully interactive display which gives information about household status and devices.
