Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryOur Project (Criminal Trap System) is a Sort of Car Automation system with some Security point of views. Our System Will Protect Car Components that can be easily detached for the Stealing purposes. Whenever a Component of a Car is Detached, It will send an Alarm to the Mobile Application of the User’s Phone within 100 to 200 Meters.
Project Objectives- Whenever someone tries to steal components of a Car like Side Mirrors, Infotainment Systems, etc. The Owner will be notified immediately.
- The Thief will not be aware of the fact that an Alert message is being delivered to the owner at that instance.
- The Owner will take his/her own Actions to protect his car or to catch the Thief.
- Provide the Security for the Automobiles.
Whenever someone (intruder) tries to get into the car or tries to break the mirror or by detaching some expensive component of the car, our system’s algorithms will detect that connection loss with the component and it will send an Alert message to the android software installed inside the owner’s phone and it will start beeping to notify the owner that something wrong is happening with his car.
Benefits of the ProjectThis Project will provide security for the cars. The major point here is that the thief or the intruder will not be aware of the fact that the owner has been notified about the situation. He will stay relaxed and unaware at that time and he will keep himself busy. The owner could easily catch him. This awareness about the system will spread in people and this will decrease the vehicle regarding crime rate in our Country.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe Project will contain three major components for working,
- An Android Application.
- A Wireless Network System.
- The Hardware components used to implement the system physically.
Our android application will be installed in the owner’s mobile phone and it will be connected wirelessly with our hardware system installed inside the car.
The Hardware system will be physically connected to the expensive and valuable components of the car like,
- Information cluster.
- Infotainment system.
- Side Mirrors.
- Batteries etc., with the help of wires and sensors.
When the Hardware system detects any detachment of these components of the car, it will send an Alert signal to the mobile application.
