Project Summary

The corona outbreak affected the million people all over the world. The people
are pushed behind the doors. A lot of businesses are stopped, many people lost
their job, educational institutions are closed. Markets are shutdown, cities are
closed, lockdown is imposed, people are in fear, people remain alone in their
home, people lose their meetups and meeting their loved ones, air services are
postponed, people abroad remain there for so many days without having a job. In
short, everything is affected, poor people’s source of income is stopped because
of the shutdown of everything. Their eyes were towards the sky and hoping for
help. This situation is still difficult for the poor people. some people need clothes,
food, and basic necessities for survival. To take initiative to reach out to these poor
people, we will develop an application which will help provide a platform for the
poor and for the donors. Another thing that we will address in this application is
to provide the people information about the areas where smart lockdown has been
imposed. Finally, we will provide the latest status information of COVID-19.

Project Objectives

The main objectives of this project are as follow:
• To identify areas where smart lockdown has been imposed;
• To provide a platform for the people to reach out and help the deserving
families;
• To provide up-to-date information on COVID-19.

Project Implementation Method

To address of the needs of the people, we will propose an Android-based solution.
Our solution will identify the areas where smart lockdown has been imposed by
the government, and it will then inform the people to avoid those areas. On the
other side, it will become the voice of the poor, who need food, clothes, and
other basic necessities to survive. This will also facilitate the job of donors and
volunteer to reach out to those people and help them out. Besides, our application
will also provide latest information in real time, about the COVID-19 situation.

Benefits of the Project

The biggest advantage of our proposed solution is that it provide a platform for
those who are interested to reach out to the most marginalised and poor people
who are affected from this pandemic. People who need food, clothes, grocery
items, etc, will also get benefits. In addition to this, another advantages of this
solution is that it will help the people to avoid traveling to those areas, where
smart lockdown has been imposed. This application will also provide worldwide
COVID-19 status and updates in real time.
