Our project name is control box assembly in fire control systems.In control box there are three panels. These are power,display and control panel.The power panel provides power to these circuits and its main function is to give power to the whole circuit. The display circuit displays the output and the control panel controls the functioning of the whole control box.The previous work was done using old equiment and mainly it is analog. Our work is to make fcs control box according to the requiremnet of this era using advance equipment and making it digital .Control box is connected to fire control system through cable sockets XS1 and XS2. When bottom cover is open then circuit boards come out. For fixing boards clamping method is used.
We were to design its one panel atleast so we decided to design its display panel. To get the circuit diagram of this display circuit we will do R&D i.e reverse engineering to get its diagram. Then we will design the same on a simulation software. Once this display circuit is designed then we will modify and improve this circuit. We will design this circuit using smd pcb circuit. This will improve its working and reduce the space of the circuit. We did reverse engineering using digital multimeter i.e dmm.
1. Our objective is to do R&D and get the circuit diagram of the required panel i.e display panel.
2. Then we have to design it on the simulation software.
3. After designing it on the simulation software we will modify and improve the circuit.
4. We will design the circuit in the hardware form using smd pcb circuit.
Firstly, we analyzed the contol box and its panel. Then we choosed display panel and started working on it. We did R&D i.e reverse engineering on the display panel and got the circuit diagram of the panel and started working on its design in the simulation software. After the completition of simulation of the panel we will modify and improve our circuit. The circuit currently in use is in analog and mainly its components are old.We will try to use new components and will try to make the circuit digital. In the end we will design our circuit in hardware form on surface mount devices i.e SMD pcb circuit.
Our project is basically related to control systems so it will help us in the study of control systems projects.Control system engineering ensures that there is a strategic method to improving productivity and enhancing the best practices . We have used reverse enginnering technique in our project.Reverse-engineering is used for many purposes: as a learning tool; as a way to make new, compatible products that are cheaper than what's currently on the market; for making software interoperate more effectively or to bridge data between different operating systems or databases; and to uncover the undocumented.Exploring existing designs and maneuvers.Reconstructing a product that is outdated.Discovering any product vulnerabilities.Bringing less expensive & more efficient products to the market. We will design or project in hardware form on SMD pcb circuit. Its advantages are that SMD Components are 60-80% smaller in size than their Thru-Hole Counterparts. Weight of these components is also much less. Therefore they occupy lesser space on the SMT PCB thus making it Smaller and Slimmer. Our simulation software usage techniques will also be nourished accordingly.
The final module of the project is the display panel of the control box assembly of the fire control system designed on SMD pcb circuit. The final module will display the output i.e the angle of firing.
