Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject SummaryThis project (CNC based pen plotter plus etching module) will print PCB circuit design directly on copper board and then the copper board will go into the automatic etcing module to get etched.
Project ObjectivesThe objective of this project is to design a PCB. Basically, the system of this plotter machine will work with three axes stepper motors, these stepper motors are controlled by shield for movement. This CNC based pen plotter will directly print circuit layout design on a PCB by pen plotting. After the PCB circuit is printed, the circuit will be etched in the etching module.
Project Implementation MethodFollowing are the project implementation method.
1) First place a copper board in the plotter with proper size and orientation.
2) Then set the pen in the plotter for how much bold the layout would be.
3) Then open the circuit layout on software to set the layout for the pen plotter to draw.
4) After the circuit in drawn the copper board will go in the etching module for etching.

Technical Details of Final DeliverableFinal deliverable will be the CNC based pen plotter which will use a parmanent ink pen to draw a circuit on a copper board moving on x and y axes and after drawing the copper board will go into the automatic etchig module for etching.
