Probably the most terrifying ordeal for mothers and fathers is to lose sight of their children. Irrespective of where such a thing happens, the feeling of panic is usually tremendous. To prevent this kind of situations, a child tracking system enables you to track down your lost children. These tracking gadgets are available in a number of different forms and shapes, i.e. in the form of watches, discs, key chains, Bluetooth pick, video calling, and screen less pick and also provide chips that could be transplanted into humans. System developed previously says that in GPS system and tag based system, each parent cannot obtain group information on vicinity of the children. They also lack some of the other features that include battery failure, low signals and inaccuracy. Instead of a specific category, the proposed system can categorize the chips according to the client’s needs.

Project Objectives

The system must be able to show information to user in real time. The system must be able to process the position data received from bus positioning module and calculate the estimated time to user. The system must be able to show estimated arrival time for bus in every bus stop. The system must be able to allow user retrieve information from mobile device. The system must be able to save record of users that what is their location and how many users are active (currently using app).

Project Implementation Method

The bus tracking system will use the latest type of technology, by using advance chips and gadgets for a secure and fast tracking system. This GPS tracker frequently updates bus location every minutes, keeping you update about the current location. Enhances the route history that will accurately calculating and optimizing the position. Improves the location update to make it operates in more real-time manner.

Benefits of the Project

While waiting for a bus, people may felt impatient and anxious if he or she does not know when the bus will arrive. For the bus management side, it is very difficult to provide an accurate schedule for bus user due to some uncertainties may happen on the road such as traffic jam or bus break down. When a bus is delayed, bus management side should inform bus user immediately. However, they do not have a platform to inform bus user in real time about the latest bus traffic status. In order to enhance bus system and increase the performance of bus service provider, the bus tracking system is needed. Bus tracking system provided a real time platform for bus user to check on bus traffic status in anytime and anywhere. It also provided a platform for bus service provider to monitor bus status and update latest information to user
