Building automation has become almost a regular thing of every new construction or renovation of an Building complex. Building automation can provide higher comfort and ease of living for most resident of buildings.

Project Objectives

We offer facilities for the residents of building according to their demand and needs. Therefore, we provide various solutions for different types of problems being faced by residents.

Project Implementation Method

-Build the Database

Based on ER diagram, we will use MongoDB to build our database.

-Build the UI

We will use the Angular 6 framework for the desktop app development and react native for the mobile app.

-Implementation of IOT

IOT will help our project to provide physical and easy interaction of devices through our apps. IOT will include some sensors maintained by Raspberry Pi.

Benefits of the Project

As we know the world is moving towards the automation of most of the things, including places we live in. Our country Pakistan is lacking behind in this field.
We are creating a basic model for buildings that can provide ease of living.

Our project will have a mobile app for the residents, a desktop app for admin or union members and IOT based devices for different purpose.
 

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

-Mobile app

Through mobile app resident can register complain

Residents will have notification as soon as their bills arrive in the billing box

Residents can receive alerts and notification

- Desktop app

Desktop app can listen to complains complained by the residents.

Announcements are sent to residents on their mobile apps.

Water level check.

Live CCTV footage for security purpose

Register new residents

-IOT

Residents can enter the building by scanning their fingerprints

Water levels in water tank can be checked

CCTV camera for security purpose displaying its footage on LCD

Fire detection inside building premises

Billing box will be made smart (using ultrasonic sensor) so it can alert residents about the bills received
