The world is moving towards the trend of digitalizing our everyday activities. Now days, there is a massive trend of hiring some event management companies for organizing a number of events like wedding, birthday parties, business conferences etc. Therefore, the market of event management is blooming. Since, all the management activities are done manually; it takes a lot of time and efforts to keep all the team members and clients updated about the current progress. To provide a solution to this problem, we are proposing a system that will automate the process of event organization and management. This application will help to maintain a connection between client and event organizer along with its team. The event manager has team leads for each department like catering, venue, photography, music, decoration, invitations etc. They will use the system for managing the activities efficiently. The system will be consisting of a website view and a mobile application. The website will feature all the details of our application and vendors can register themselves via website. The mobile application requires login credentials and users can create account on it. The client can choose the desired package within their budget. It is also used for the communication of the team and manager can easily keep the track of the progress. This application will save a lot of time and efforts of the team for communication and coordination of the management process.

Project Objectives This project has following main objectives that include:

1. To develop an event planning system with three different interfaces, one for an event management company, one for vendors and one for the customers.
2. To lessening the communication gap between users.
3. To provide an online platform for vendors to boost their business.
4. To automate the whole event planning process and save a lot of time, effort and cost.

Project Implementation Method

Our Application consist of 2 different platforms including mobile and web application. The implementation of each of them is listed below:

Approach: 

We will use waterfall approach and introduce project versions after adding different functionalities into the project. Documentation will be one of our main focus during development of project.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable Mobile App: 

For both android & iOS with integrated and tested modules, a database and server setup. The app will be able to run on any android smartphone with version 4.4 and above.
