Project Summary
The proposed application will play an important role in saving the lives of human beings. It will include all the relevant features to provide an interface for the communication between blood seekers, blood donors and blood banks.
The users can locate different volunteer blood donors and blood banks in their locality through GPS and then request for the blood in case of emergency.
The Users will be able to view information about different blood banks along with the blood available in their repository, the information of the registered users who need blood in case of emergency and the blood donors who wants to donate blood when required. All the personal information about blood donors will be kept in the database.
Project Objectives
This application helps to search the near hospital, bloodbank, donors online instantly by tracking its location using GPS. The proposed system reduces the time to a greater extent i.e. searching for the required blood through blood banks and hospitals. Thus this proposed application provides the required information in less time.
Main Functions are:
A user can be registered as a donor, needy people, blood bank and hospital. Needy people can request for blood.
Needy people can search hospital, blood banks or donors.
Donors can view and response to the request of the needy people.
Correct information about blood stock of blood banks and hospitals.
Proper communication bridge is establish between blood banks, hospital, donors and needy people.
Project Implementation Method
A blood donation application will be developed using android studio. For user interface design we will used XML and for development we will use Java.
Benefits of the Project
This applicationi helps to the needly people to search hospital, bloodbank and donors online in shorttime. This application also provide the facility to search those donor, hospital or blood bank which are near to the seeker by using the GPS.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
A android based application which will provide facility to the seeker to search blood in hosptial, blood bank and donor. Also can request to blood bank, hospital and donor for blood. The blood bank, hospital and donor can accept or reject the request of the seeker.
