Project Summary

Blind persons can not navigate easily inside the building. So, we purposed a smartphone base Navigation System for Blinds. By using this system through an app, Blinds will be able to navigate inside the building. 

The main problem we face is to locate the user inside the building with high accuracy. GPRS and Wifi can't locate the user with high accuracy. But Bluetooth Low Energy(BLE) Becons provide high accuracy. So, We locate the user through BLE Becons.

Then we will find the best possible path and guide the user throughout the way.

Project Objectives

Our main objective is to move the Blind persons inside the building without any fear of lost. 

1 more thing we want to add is that Student's time table is also stored inside it. It will automatically till user, this is your class time and your path is ready start your journy.

Then it will guide the user till destination.

Project Implementation Method

We will make Bluetooth Low Energy Becons Network inside the building. Each Becon will be able to locate the user near it. And we will make an Andriod App Which have the E-Map of this building. 

User just open app and app will tell its current location and ask his Point Of Interst(POI).

App will find its best Possible path and guide the user inside throughout the way.

Benefits of the Project

I personally visit some blinds institute and they tell me that they feel very uncomfert, when they ask help from random people. They also tell that if they lost and unable to find anyone around them then they face panic attack.

So our app will solve these issues.

Blinds will fell more confident and independent.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

1. We will implement this system in our university campous beacuse GC has lot of Blind Students.

2. Our System will be connected with our main system.

3. E-Map of Building will be stored in it.

4. BLE Becons network will be implemented inside the whole building.(each beacon will automatically connect itself with mobile and then measure its distance from this and use an algoritm to locate user exact posotion)
