Project ObjectivesThe objective of this project is to build a blind man stick that can detect obstacles, potholes and thus help the blind person travel independently
Project Implementation MethodThe blindstick microcontroller has three components: arduino, an ultrasonic sensor that measures sensor distance and magnitude. The ultrasonic sensor works in such a way that it has two speakers. A speaker makes a sound. It is like the sound of a certain frequency. This sound comes out of the speaker and comes back after hitting something. We note his time, how many times he came back after hitting. We know the time, so we apply a formula. Distance is measured. There is a distance of 30 cm which rings after one second. The shorter the distance, the faster the beep.
Benefits of the ProjectThe advantage of our project is that it can detect any obstacle with the help of ultrasonic sensors and it can provide correct location of obstacle
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe purpose of this project is to make a blind person's stick that can detect obstacles and thus help the blind person to walk freely and safely.
