To overcome this problem we came up with the solution, first we unlock the lock of bike through RFID card and only has to scan his finger to start a bike and does not have to carry the key if he/she don’t want to. Biometric refers to the identification or verification of a person based on his/her physiological or behavioral characteristics. Fingerprint identification is one of the most reliable and dependable personal biometric method.
As we start working on a project we have several problems, one of the major problem is for enrolling the fingerprint of new person we used keypad to enroll by entering the password and then enroll any finger up to 127 finger impressions.
Project ObjectivesThe main objective of this project is to provide a a safe and hassle-free way to start the vehicle engine, with strong security to go through first. The purpose of the project is user first unlock the lock of bike by RFID card and only has to scan his finger to start the Bike and does not have to carry the key. The fingerprint sensor base is one of the safest motorcycle starting systems as it has the ability to identify and identify everyone individually without error.
Project Implementation MethodHardware Fixing:
- We connect RFID pins to ardino through breadboard
- Connecting Fingerprint sensor with arduino through wires
- Connecting LCD pins with arduino through wires
- Connecting keypad in parallel with LCD and Fingerprint with arduino through wires
Software uploading:
First we check each programme by uploading one by one on every component (FINGERPRINT, LCD, RFID, KEYPAD) separately.
Then we combine all prorammes together, to upload a single programme on ardiuno to work every component as one.
Benefits of the Project-
The fingerprint sensor is one of the safest starting system as it has the ability to identify and identify everyone individually without error.

Motorcyclist also have the problem by using kick start and most of the riders got injured while starting the bike kick so we are coming up with fingerprint Ignition although self start are common these days but it also have many disadvantages.

System is providing a safe and hassle-free way to start the bike engine, with strong security to go through first.
At end of our project a prepared circuit (hardware) which is fixed in the bike, perform various functions involve:
First of all user scan RFID card to unlock a bike,if card is not valid then LCD displays "acess denied" in other case of valid card it unlocks the bike and LCD displays "access granted".
Then user have to put their finger on finger scanner to scan his/her identity to start the bike, if fingerprint is valid then bike starts. in other case if fingerprint is not valid the LCD displays "wrong fingerprint" and bike does not start.
