This project designs a beeper system which will be used in the restaurant industry. This project deals with mechanism of restaurants with wireless touch panel based menu systems. This project decrease manpower required for taking order from customers. Customers have to put their orders through touch panel which will receive in counter without any dealing of waiters. This device will decrease the above an industry needs managing the host’s-stand by efficient task for assigning beeper. The beeper will fix the lone function system by allowing guests to view the menu. It will be all-round devices capable of informing, enhancing and streamlining the restaurant experience for visitors. 

Project Objectives

The system will help to manipulate and run the restaurant business. We can offer the device that can be used by the client to order meal. In present, formal eating atmospheres, approximately method of bodily fixed list of options (items) is used to deliver a possible meal and drinks selections to clients. Separate features of all of the hardware components will be utilized in it. Beeper is advanced so one can give clean interactions between clients through wireless technology. The purchaser module consists of sensitive contact hardware. This device has been changed to take order from the customer and dispatched to the cashier counter. 

Project Implementation Method

To achieve the desired objectives of the project the following will be the major steps:

Step 1: Create a cloud
Cayenne is used as a cloud to make the connectivity with device.
Step 2: Use C++
To connect the Arduino Nano with HDMI and Node MCU with cloud we need to code them by using C++ on Arduino software. Both arduino Nano and Node MCU work properly when it is coded.
Step 3: Design the device
HDMI screen is used as a display so insert the picture of menu on screen by using the software of the HDMI. Make connectivity of disply with arduino Nano and Node MCU with the server.

Benefits of the Project

The goal of our project is to save time of customers by providing facilities like vacancy list at reception, digital food ordering which will result in customer satisfaction and ultimately profit the restaurant. This automated system saves time, reduce human errors, reduce manpower and gives customer satisfaction, thus beneficial for both restaurant and customer. 

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final deliverable will be a device for restaurant system. The order will place through the device and it uploaded on the cloud(in the main server). When order is ready Beep the device.
