"Battle out – An Epic Multiplayer Battle” is a 3-D game specifically designed to stimulate creativity, uplift problem solving, and apmlify critical thinking skills. The primary purpose is to provide students a way to learn and have fun at the same time without getting bored. Battle out, promotes a quiz based mini game that can help students prepare for their competitive exams like GAT, SAT or CSS. The game mostly revolves around two teams competing against each other in a single map within a given amount of time in the first-person environment. The last man standing in each round will be given a chance to solve a quiz, a mathematical equation or a general knowledge question in order to get specific upgrades in the next coming rounds. The upgrades could be anything like weapon upgrade or armour upgrade. Playing this game can provide students an opportunity to learn academic concepts in a unique and fun way. We believe it will help students reinforce what they learn in school or any other educational institute
Project ObjectivesThe primary objectives of our project are listed in the following:
- To create a functional entertaining round-based team death match with First Person Shooting perspective.
- To create a game that’s both enjoyable and knowledge based.
- To incorporate mini games as a part of the game that will help users to prepare for their competitive exams.
- To lay emphasis that games are not only being used to promote violence and reduced social interactions but they can be used as great tool to spread knowledge and uplift society.
- To create a game that features the three main sections of a competitive exam that are General knowledge, Analytical and Quantitative section.
The following development languages and tools shall be used during the coarse of project development:
- C# for Scripting.
- Photon API for Multiplayer synchronization.
- Unity Engine
- Visual Studio
- SQL Database by MS
Battle Out – An Epic Multiplayer Battle will be implemented and executed using the following process models, We have mentioned all the steps included in the process.
We believe Iterative Process Model is best suited for this Project, because most of today’s multiplayer games come with their updates like Bug fixing, Adding Some Maps & much more. After the project development, if we need to make some changes in the weapons or if there’s a need to modify the game’s map, we can update it by suing this process model. The Player’s feedback is very important in this phase, like what they need in future updates? Is this game lagging? Some bugs occur during the game? This will help us to resolve all the issue in game.
Benefits of the ProjectNo such game has been introduced before in the gaming world that primarily focus on the competitive exams whether it be a GRE GAT or any government competitive exam. It is quite crucial to introduce such type of a game that highlights all the sections of such exams.
Those sections include:
- General knowledge
- Analytical and Logical
- Quantitative
Benefits also include:
- To incorporate mini games as a part of the game that will help users to prepare for their competitive exams.
- To lay emphasis that games are not only being used to promote violence and reduced social interactions but they can be used as great tool to spread knowledge and uplift society.
