In these days there are large types of peoples working in offices and other working places
Project ObjectivesThis project is focusing on developing a fire extinguish robot using Arduino.Robot that detect fire and then send the alert message to the local authorities or owner, and then extinguish fire, after extinguish the fire it send the message to the authorities that situation is under control. Fire Alarm system usually use the water sprays for extinguished the fire. These alarm systems can extinguish fire but can also damages the electronic appliances like computers and important documents.So we make the robot that use chemical sprays that doesn’t harm the other devices.
Project Implementation MethodIn this project we use the IR Sensors When fire burns it emits a small amount of Infra-red light, this light will be received by the IR receiver on the sensor module. Then we use an Op-Amp to check for change in voltage across the IR Receiver, so that if a fire is detected the output pin (DO) will give 0V(LOW) and if the is no fire the output pin will be 5V(HIGH).
So, we place three such sensors in three directions of the robot to sense on which direction the fire is burning. We detect the direction of the fire we can use the motors to move near the fire by driving our motors. When near a fire we have to put it out Spray Bottle.A 5V pressure button is attached to it and the pressure button will start pressing the spray bottle's button when it recieves input it will attack the fire and the fire will go away.
Benefits of the ProjectThere are many robots in market for firefighting purpose, these robots are much expensive so that many people can’t able to buy such robots.
The main goal of this Project is to make a low cost firefighting robots so the many people can buy and use it.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThere are many technical details about the project. We faced lot of troubles during the project. several times servo motor has been dead, then we use pressure button and we get the idea from the Automatic Perfume model which automatically sprays perfume every five minute.
