school management will also be facilitate by it, because through this application they can
establish a well formed security system for school van drivers, this app will link school
management, van driver and student parents. So they can reduce the communication gap
between them, this application will allow van drivers to have a list of students that he has to
pick daily. Parents will be notified for every action that took place so they can have track for
safety purposes, school management will be able to assign school van driver the list of
students that he has to pick and also confirm arrival of each and every student.
Our main objective is to make an application that will used in our schooling
systems because it can be much useful when it comes to safety of students and tackling
of parents issues. School bus transportation management as school administrators are
deeply concerned with it, Our GPS monitoring application for school buses will handle all of
these functionalities with intelligent control tools, detailed contact and reporting
capabilities.
Our other objective is to vast our knowledge, we want to learn more about web
technologies like geolocation APIs, React Native, Node Js and much more, this project will
make us go through tough times, but that’s exactly what we need to evolve ourselves as
they say “Practice makes man perfect”. I think with this project we can massively
increase our field of expertise, which will surely award us in our future endeavours.
We are going to develop our Mobile Application
Using HTML, CSS, JS and React Native on the front end while using Node.JS on the back end
to support IOS/Android Platforms we may also use geolocations APIs to track driver’s
location.
Parents and school administrators are usually worried about a school child’s trip from
school to home and vice versa because of the rising traffic and road injury accidents. The
tracking feature of the school van application enables information of the bus route, real-
time bus tracking, and other important driver information. The management and parents will get fast notifications with this tracking about van status or whether some unusual
incident happens, thus a well-formed system needed to counter these problems so parents
would assured about their child safety.
