Project Summary

An automatic car parking system (APS) is a mechanical system designed to minimize the area   and/or volume required for parking cars. Like a multistorage parking garage, an APS provides   parking for cars on multiple levels stacked vertically to maximize the number of parking space while minimizing land usage. The APS, however, utilizes a mechanical system to transport cars to and from parking spaces in order to eliminate much of the space wasted in a multi-story parking garage. While a multi-story parking garage is similar to multiple parking lots stacked vertically, an APS is more similar to an automated storage system or cars. The patemoster (shown animated at the right) is an example of one of the earliest and most common types of APS

APS are also generically known by a variety of other names, including: automated parking facility (APF), automated vehicle storage and retrieval system (AVSRS), car parking systemmechanical parking, and robotic parking garage.

Project Objectives

a)To develop an intelligent, user friendly automated car parking system which reduces the

manpower and traffic congestion.

b) To offer safe and secure parking slots within limited area

c) Achieve a broader mix of uses within a finer grain of development, incorporating a high

tandard of design

d) Promote a higher density of development leading to a greater intensity of activity

supporting and supported by high quality public transport

e) Reduce the influence of the car in the design and layout of the area

f) Encourage walking, cycling and the use of public transport for people travelling to, from

and within the area with walking the first priority.

g) Integrate different facilities and quarters within the center.

Project Implementation Method

By further examining the various smart parking system currently deployed as well as the commercial system on the market, it provides a brief idea on its implementation methods and sensor utilization. The different sensor placements as well as the implementation method of the particular system, albeit achieving the same end results of providing guidance to the patrons, are quite different. Information gathered on the various systems would definitely help in improvising and developing a better system.

The process maps the magnitudes of the fuzzy set into crisp values, since the regulated system is a

real quantity, not fuzzy. The resulting value is then converted in PWM form and forwarded to the DC motor

driver to adjust the rotational speed of the DC motor based on the given voltage. The defuzzification process

uses the Center of Sum method.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

In the automatic vertical solar car parking system it is mostly used in croud places when some one want to park the car then customer place the finger in the finer module or set the code what he/she want then park the car and if cusstomer want a car back if customer set the code then it will give the car and the system will remove the  old password
