The idea is to make an automatic solar panel lamination machine that laminates the solar panel automatically by adjusting its temperature, pressure ,voltage and current with respect to time and all the current values of the above quantities would be displayed through the screen which is infact a touch screen that is the one of the main component of our project as all the working and operations would be managed through it.Since the lamination would be done automatically the user wouldn't have to worry to check it time to time because when the lamination is completed the machine will alert the user giving a buzzer alarm that the lamination has completed and the panel is ready.We will also create a laser machine to cut the cells in a proper shape and then we will also connect the cells to each other by soldering tab wire at the back of the cell, connecting them into rows and similarly making more rows and connecting them to each other, hence making a whole solar panel so that a proper solar panel is ready. The maximum panel size that can be laminated is 2 feet and the temperature that we will provide would be 170C-180C and pressure would be 300 mm/Hg.
 

Project Objectives OBJECTIVE:

The main objective of our project is to be able to make solar panels and also do its lamination so that the longetivity of the solar panel and durability is achieved and our task is not only to laminate the solar panel but we also wanted to become the developer of the solar panels and also to spread its knowledge throughout our society and also become its supplier.

First of all we are going to use an HMI to monitor all the progress of the project and to operate all the lamination process through it and for that we are going to program it through arduino mega and after that connect all of the sensors namely current sensor, voltage sensor, pressure transducer, and thermocouple K-type to it . To provide a temperature of 170C-180C we will be connecting the heating rods and to generate the pressure we are using compressor and a vacuum pump. All of the components above mentioned will be connected to the HMI 7", so all the quantities are monitored and also a buzzer will be connected  to indicate  when the lamination is completed and all of this would be integrated afterwards in to the frame designed for the project.

Benefits of the Project BENEFIT OF OUR PROJECT:

The main benefit of our project would be that we will be able to make our University the supplier of the solar panels and also make our University and ourselves capable of teaching all the necessary information about solar panels and how to make it and our task is not only to be capable of spreading such knowledge but also to start making it ourselves becasue it'll help the country recover from its energy crisis because after the one-time fitting of the panels the maintenance cost can't exceed the high electricity bills people have to pay every month. So with the help of this we along with our University
would not just be able to supply solar panels but would also be able to provide the necessary information regarding solar panels and power generation and it will also be a very big effort to pull out our country from the energy crisis that it is facing at the moment.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable TECHNICAL DETAILS:

The project would be deliverable after its proper checking and completion which is to be expected till 31st of July 2021. A solar panel of approximately 2 feet would be delivered properly laminated with a durability of 25 years.
