Automatic Multilevel Car Parking System
The basic theme of the project is that"an arduino will be used to control the whole prototype". There are nine motors used totally one servo motor for tray movement four step motors for positioning of toy cars in the slots and four DC motors to lock the tyres of cars on the tray during parking and placement in the slots.
IR sensors are used in the slots for giving presence of car information in slots to LED via arduino.
for the security of car there is RFID based authentication system on the entrance of parking.
Our aim is to desing a parking system with following features
1) mostly automatic with 98.57% efficient which is more than modern car parking system.
2) There will be 0.8% chances of vehicle vandalisim.
3) Smart parking system to park maximum vehicles in less area.
4) Safe and secure parking system using RFID for authentication and verification of drivers.
We first designed the tray of prototype for the toy cars. Than design the stand for tray. Next to that slots rack to put the toy cars. After the general infrastructure we designed the electronic circuitry of the project i-e IR sensors in the slots, Arduino fixation in the system. motors placement and fixation and finaly RFID system for autentication.
1) Quick automated parking and retrival of vehicles
2) Does not require a parking attendent
3) it will save our time
4) the system is secured
qThere are four stages in this system.
1. Tray design
2. Lifter design
3. Slots design
4. Smart card verification
