The project will use a closed chain of compressor, condenser and evaporator.
To turn moisture into water, we need to cool it down. For the purpose of cooling, we will use coolent normally used in air conditioners or fridge etc.
First of all, we will filter the air and suck it in using an exhaust fan. The air will be filter to avoid any unnecessary particles (dust etc).
This air will be at normal temperature until we force it toward the copper wire. The copper wire is hollow and we can pass coolents through it. This copper wire will get cold enough to turn the moisture in air into liquid, A tank will be placed right beneath the coopper pipe where the water droplets will be collected.
The water will be taken from this tanks and will be passed through filter. Minerals will be added in the water aswell. Multiple filters could be used according
Our main objective is to produce drinkable water using the moisture and humidity in air. In Pakistan, their is shortage of water which needs to be fulfilled. The water which we will produce using this project will be "distilled water". This water is not drinkable and needs further filteration to be consumed for drinking purposes. Minerals will be added aswell during this process.
We can produce upto 18 Litres of water per day using this device. The produced quantity depends on the size of this device as well as the presence of humidity in air. For Pakistan, our atmosphere contains enough humidity to run the project.
Atmospheric water generator will be a Dispenser-like device. Needs to be plugged in and the device will start working. The coolent will start circulating and the copper pipe will start getting cold. Once cold enough, the pipe will be able to liquidify the moisture present in the air.
The project is very applicable and can be installed in offices, homes, schools etc.
some monotoring device will be used to take care of all the readings.
Production of water out of thin air is the biggest benefit of this project. Every one is already awared of water crisis our country is facing.
Air is free, atleast we dont need to pay tax for air yet. Which means that the main source for this project is FREE.
The project, once completed, will run flawlessly. the only maintenance required will be the installation of new filters after a certain period of time (7-8 months) according to the area where the device is being used.
